it started as a happy little love song, By the time I got to "Today's the day" it took a dark turn.

got up this morning with a gleam in my eye
no time for breakfast gotta pick out my tie
I stop for doughnuts ‘cause its my turn to buy
every Thursday

I feel fantastic I’m just glowing inside
I wear a smile that is ten miles wide
walk down the street with a bounce in my stride
to the office
today's the day I make them pay
for their years of hazing
I’ve applied some cyanide,
to their maple glazing

they're all gonna die
they're all gonna die

cable news nationwide
will ask “who oh, why?”
they're all gonna die

Dave from accounting is looking at me
he seems quite healthy well, how can this be?
he tells me that he only eats gluten free
I don’t worry.

I’m feeling sporty so I tell him to run
bolts like a rabbit so I pull out my gun
I shoot his hamstring,
who says work can’t be fun
he dies bleeding

today’s the day
i shout hurray
and settle all family business
the office staff
that teased and laughed
are begging for forgiveness.

you’re gonna die
yes, you’re all gonna die

there’s no escape
don’t you try
yes, they're all gonna die

I have waited for this day for so long
the joy I’m feeling is too right to be wrong
who’d have guessed i would turn out this strong
it’s all rather amazing

feeling like Putin so I take off my shirt
when i spot Linda washing blood from her skirt
stole my promotion by being a flirt
with the chairman.

she used her body for her corporate climb
says if i spare her that she would be mine
i ask her kindly to tell me the time
then I stab her.

today’s the day
i get my way
at last i’m getting even
to their dismay
they have to say
i’m over achieving

you’re all gonna die
yes, you’re all gonna die

shut up! don’t you cry
I’ll tell you why
you’re all gonna die
yes, you’re all gonna die
