about

Synthpop song about today with a little Viking flavor.

lyrics

can't turn it around
Euro or Pound
can't buy what you need
intangible deeds
its not a disaster
but it could be
things are moving much faster
than we all need

you go sell your body
go sell your soul
and you still loose
all creative control
you make plenty of dollars
living in squalor
you cant drown your sorrow
or plan for tomorrow

lo, there do I see my father.
i see my mother my sisters and brothers.
hear all my people back to the beginning.
they're all bidding me
to join them in valhalla because
today is a good day to die
today is a good day to die

misguided devotion
poisoned the oceans
we've run afoul
of old mother nature
on this blue marble
transmissions are garbled
please rinse and repeat
can you turn down the heat

lo, there do I see my father.
i see my mother my sisters and brothers.
hear all my people back to the beginning.
they're all bidding me
to join them in valhalla because
today's too late for a solution
no chance for our absolution
so much for a green revolution
i say today today today
today is a good day to die
today is a good day to die

can't turn it around
we're upside down
and right side in
its original sin

we'll witness with our own eyes
the human species demise
we're already too late
so why should I wait?

lo, there do I see my father.
i see my mother my sisters and brothers.
hear all my people back to the beginning.
they're all bidding me
to join them in valhalla because
today is a good day to die
today is a good day to die
