I was going to write a song about a Burlesque type gal but it morphed into this instead. The Burley girl song will be coming soon.

Now I live in a nice neighborhood
Where everybody does as they should
A perfect world made of brick and wood
Just me and little lady

Life was peachy I must say
until that fateful September day
When my next-door neighbor moved away
and in moved little Sadie

Now we tried to be neighborly
Said "hello" the wife and me
When Sadie first took a look at me
It made me feel uneasy

Sadie's a wicked lady
she cost me my wife,
ruined my life Yeah,
I'm going straight to Hades
Why did I give in?
I cant say no to sadie

I rue the day that she came around
when my baby was out of town
it started when i heard the sound
of someone at the front door knocking

she stood there dripping said she blew a fuse
asked if we had a dryer that she could use
i didn't realize it was just a ruse
until we started rocking

She said my marriage was just a lie
that my wife was messing 'round with other guys
and should she meet her own demise
Sadie would be mine forever

Sadie's a wicked lady
She gave me the knife
I used on my wife
I'm going straight to Hades
Why did I give in?
I cant say no to sadie

She said that things would be alright
when the house was bathed in red and blue lights
Then the cops came in, read me my rights
and held me 'til my trial

How did this happen? Couldn't understand
I'd always been a decent law abiding man
My fate was sealed when called to the stand
was my precious Sadie

They found me guilty and the in-law's cheered
she tapped my back and whispered in my ear
She'd been planning this for twenty years
I asked why she had betrayed me

She told me that I had played a part
in breaking her older sisters heart
and her family was ripped apart
when she ended her own life

Sadie's a wicked lady
No fury is borne
like this mad's woman's scorn

HB Radke has music in his blood. The son of Harry James Orchestra frontman Fred Radke and vocalist Gina Funes, HB started on the trumpet at the age of 8. He started his own big band just a few years after that. His career as a vocalist began in his teens.
