about

Ok so a lot of my Facebook friends have been asking me to continue my Today's Haiku series. Well sorry to say songwriting has been taking up most of my processor cycles. Here is the best of both worlds. All the lyrics are presented in Haiku form. Enjoy

lyrics

I write songs for her
But she doesn't notice me
As hard as I try

I write her poems
Sonnets and soliloquies
She makes my heart fly

CHORUS
I'll write her Haikus
In the Japanese Style
then will she be mine

If she likes Haikus
Will she then be beguiled
That would be divine

She lives down the street
She passes me every day
looking straight ahead.

Speechless from her glance
will she give her love to me
or pass by instead

CHORUS

one two three four five
Syllables make the first part
Then come seven more

She's smiling at me
I can't believe my fortune
Happiness is here

I ask what's your name?
Mei Lin Wong is her reply
She's not Japanese

CHORUS
