about

EDM track about the amount of work and information the average person is responsible for.

lyrics

cant catch my breath
or get my bearings
we’re worked to death
but long past caring
we're moving too fast

cant wrap my head
'round this automation
do more with less
it’s cerebral starvation
how long can we last?

CHORUS
FRANTIC running around in circles
FRANTIC we've mechanized our souls
FRANTIC our minds used to be so fertile
FRANTIC our hubris will take its toll

we're messing with
mother nature
our blind need for progress
is leaving deep scars
she wont forget
Hacking the code
of her perfect program
forsake the future
for a better mousestrap
we will regret

CHORUS

cant take a breath
the whole world is burning
starved half to death
for some corporate earnings
worshiping greed

ignorant bliss
rules the ivory tower
in the abyss
of wealth and power
the drive to succeed

CHORUS
