about

Sometimes it is best to give up. That's today's lesson kids! from the upcoming web series Uncle Chimo's Secret Basement

lyrics

CHIMO:
Hey kids! Have you ever felt sad?

AUDIENCE:
Yeah!

Have you ever been so terribly sad. you just know deep in your heart its never ever gonna get better?

you just want the pain to stop, forever?

Well if you've felt that way, you may be on to something. Sometimes its best to just cut your losses… well. not just your losses. I'll explain

(singing)
your feelings are hurting
you know for certain
that your life has seen its better days

so you may be flirting
with the final curtain
try this method its sure to amaze

go down the road not across the street
if its old St Peter that you aim to meet
if you're dead set on cutting up your wrists
go down the road I insist

Little Girl:
spoken
How is walking down the road gonna get rid of my blues?

Chimo:
spoken
It's not a REAL road! Here I'll explain

(singing)
the road runs from your elbow to your hand
and its the fastest way to execute your plan
Across the street is just a cry for help
and God only help those who help themselves

so go down the road not across the street
if its old St Peter that you aim to meet
if you're dead set on cutting up your own wrists
go down the road I insist

Get your bath drawn piping hot
take an aspirin so your blood won't ever clot
get out the razor blades that you just bought
then down the road with everything you got

RIght Kids!?

go down the road not across the street
if its old St Peter that you aim to meet
if you're dead set on cutting up your own wrists
go down the road I insist
