I wanted to write a tune that had a groove that sounded like a skipping record. It turned into this :) This song was inspired by somebody I know who does have the bounce. Though all characters and events are fictitious.

I was chillin' at the casa on a Saturday night
Getting caught up on my Netflix I was feeling alright
When my tummy started rumblin' it was time to go eat
So I headed to the small cantina just down the street
There was a new girl waiting tables man she was fine
The way she walked was like slow motion, really blew my mind

She had the bounce
The girly had the bounce
The girly bounce
nothings better than the bounce
Right where it counts
She had the bounce
in large amounts
and ounce for once
nothings better than the bounce

They showed me to my table, I felt high as a kite
The new girl said im gonna be your server tonight
I hid behind my menu watched her working the room
She came to take my order I had sauteed mushrooms
I'm not the kind of guy who gets all creepy and stares
but for what this chick was packing I was unprepared

Fast forward later in the evening, they were ready to close
After watching all that bouncing I could of proposed
I told her when her shift was over- if she'd nothing to do
I'd love to have her over for a cocktail or two
She said she'd love to come by and kick it for a while
Then she flashed that wicked white smile

HB Radke has music in his blood. The son of Harry James Orchestra frontman Fred Radke and vocalist Gina Funes, HB started on the trumpet at the age of 8. He started his own big band just a few years after that. His career as a vocalist began in his teens.
